Clinical Ophthalmology in General Practice
Sponsored by:

Andrew M. Enders, DVM, MS, DACVO

Dr. Andrew Enders grew up in Pasadena, Maryland, where he spent his free time hunting, practicing martial arts (he has two black belts), and studying Spanish, in which he is now fluent. He received his B.S. degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University in 2011, after only three years. He remains an avid Clemson football fan to this day. Dr. Enders received his D.V.M. degree from Cornell University in 2015. After leaving Ithaca, he completed a rotating small animal internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and stands by the statement that it was truly the best year of his life. From there he moved to Blacksburg, Virginia to complete his ophthalmology residency, concurrently receiving his M.S. degree in Biomedical and Veterinary Sciences researching alternative therapies for canine glaucoma.
Dr. Enders is new to the DFW area and is excited about exploring it with his Miniature Schnauzer, Scooter. Dr. Enders is an avid traveler and has explored thirty-six states and twenty-six countries. He has a particular interest in inherited ocular disease and equine ophthalmology.
