Gastrointestinal Disease and Adverse Food Reactions and Nutritional Truths
Sponsored by:

Jennifer Scata DVM, CCRT

Dr. Jennifer Scata received her BS in Biology from Virginia Tech 1994 and her DVM from Tufts University in 1999. She had the benefit of a great foundation in nutrition education from Dr. Lisa Freeman at Tufts who sparked her passion for nutrition and how it not only can heal patients with certain diseases but also how good nutrition can prevent some diseases as well. Since graduating from veterinary school she has had a diverse career in small animal medicine including general practice, shelter medicine in Australia, and after becoming certified in canine rehabilitation therapy, she started her own rehabilitation practice in a specialty hospital in Colorado. Dr. Scata finally came to her senses and moved to TX just about 4 years ago with her family and they love living here. Always looking for a new challenge and having achieved all her goals in practice, Dr. Scata fulfilled a decade long dream of working for Royal Canin when she started with the company in July of 2018.
