Oral Tumors in Dogs and Making Faces: Surgery for Oral Tumors

Leslie E. Moore, DVM, MS, is a veterinarian in the Surgery department with MedVet Dallas. She joined the team in 2018. Dr. Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. After completing veterinary school, she went on to complete a yearlong internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, followed by a residency at Auburn University in Auburn, AL.

Passionate for all aspects of veterinary Surgery, Dr. Moore has a special interest in reconstructive surgery, surgical oncology, gastrointestinal surgery, and traumatology. She cares deeply for her Patients and loves being able to help Clients when their pets require care.

When not at the hospital, Dr. Moore can often be found trying a new restaurant. She enjoys vinyasa yoga and going to the movies.

Bobbi McQuown, DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (Oncology) is a board-certified Veterinary Medical Oncologist at MedVet Dallas, where she has been part of the medical team since 2018.

Dr. McQuown graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. Following completion of her undergraduate studies, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Dr. McQuown then spent one year with VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk & Shelton, CT, during which time she completed her rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine. She next completed a three-year residency at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in North Grafton, MA.

Dr. McQuown maintains a special interest in cardiac tumors, lymphoma, and palliative care. She finds great fulfillment in the relationships she builds with clients and patients.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. McQuown enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.
