Dr. Ko graduated from a veterinary school in Taiwan in 1981 and went on to complete his residency at the University of Illinois. He was an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Virginia Tech and the University of Florida between 1992 and 1998, and was an associate professor and a full professor of anesthesiology at Oklahoma State University until 2005. Dr. Ko has been a professor and clinical anesthesiologist in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine, Purdue University since January of 2006. He is a diplomate of American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists and a frequent speaker at regional, national and international meetings.
