Immune Mediated Disease - New Treatment Modalities

Dr. Woolley was born and raised in northern New Jersey where she obtained her Bachelor of Science from the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown. She then attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State in Stillwater, OK where she received her DVM degree. Dr. Woolley then spent a year as a rotating intern at the California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. She completed her small animal internal medicine residency at Cornell University in Ithaca New York and fulfilled all requirements necessary to achieve board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Dr. Woolley's publications include an article on canine hyperparathyroidism. Review of Hyperparathyroidism (August 2009) Compendium, as well as a Textbook chapter. Dysphagia and Regurgitation in Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Ettinger and Feldman 7th edition.
Dr. Woolley practiced as a staff internist in the California Bay Area from 2007-2009 where she enjoyed all aspects of internal medicine. She enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and treating complex disease processes as well as performing advanced non-invasive diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy (upper GI/colonoscopy), cystoscopy, rhinoscopy and bronchoscopy. Dr. Woolley has clinical interests in immune-mediated disorders and the use of novel therapies in treating these various disorders. In her spare time Dr. Woolley enjoys spending time with her husband and two Chihuahuas - Frodo and Martini as well as reading, running, tennis and shopping.
