Jacqueline Gimmler, DVM, MS, DACVD
Dr. Jacqueline Gimmler grew up in Highland Village, TX. As a kid she loved animals (owning over 10 pets at one point!) and musical theatre. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Biology in 2006, then earned her DVM from Texas A&M University in 2010. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Center in 2011 followed by a dermatology internship in 2012. She did her dermatology residency and earned a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science at Auburn University in Alabama in 2015.
Her research focused on terbinafine concentrations in canine skin. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2015 and returned home to Texas to practice dermatology. Currently, she lives in Grapevine, TX with her husband, 2 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Her professional passions are increasing the success of allergy immunotherapy and improving the well-being of the veterinary community.
