Welcome to the official website for the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association (DCVMA). DCVMA has been serving the Veterinary Profession and Dallas Community since 1954.
Thank you for helping us get 2017 off to a successful start. We enjoyed having Dr. Melissa Wood speak in January on unconventional veterinary diets. It is definitely great information to have in our arsenal, as more clients seem to gravitate toward different approaches to pet nutrition. Our special thanks to sponsor Royal Canin for their continued support of the DCVMA.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Phil Padrid in February, who will be speaking on respiratory disease. Dr. Padrid completed his residency in internal medicine at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, and subsequently a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at UC Davis School of Medicine. He has served on faculty at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and Ohio State University, as well as Medical Director at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center. We are looking forward to an interesting and informative talk. The DCVMA would also like to send thanks to our February sponsor MedVet Medical and Cancer Centers for Pets.
We have had over 200 membership applications submitted, which is a good start. We encourage you to complete applications for yourself and your associates early, to take advantage of the CE meetings that are included with membership. Also, feel free to invite technical staff to the meetings. The cost for staff to attend is $25 per meeting, which includes dinner. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
As always, please feel free to share comments or suggestions with one of the board members. Your input is valued.
